Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Sea Bird Gifts & Candy first opened its doors in our little salty slice of paradise in Westport, WA? Back in 2015, we were just a small beachside dream with big fudge energy and a serious taffy addiction. Fast forward to today, and we’re still here — slingin’ sweets, cracking jokes, and pretending we don’t eat half the inventory (no comment).
🐦 How It All Started…
We didn’t set out to build a candy empire (although we wouldn't mind a fudge throne). Sea Bird was born from a love of beachcombing, quirky treasures, and the kind of old-fashioned candy shop magic that makes you feel like a kid again — even if your knees say otherwise.
Our mission was simple: create a fun, welcoming space where locals and visitors could find the best saltwater taffy in Westport and the kind of handmade fudge that makes you weak in the knees.

In the past decade, we’ve seen it all:
Kids getting wide-eyed over taffy bins bigger than they are 🍬
Fudge-induced happy dances (we’ve got video proof) 🍫
Tourists “accidentally” coming back three days in a row for “just one more piece” 😉
And locals who’ve become family — the real sweet part of this journey.
